In other words, it does not allow anything to hide from sight. Nothing is hidden where light is present. Jesus says in Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Believers in Christ are the light of the world. This is the background of Paul’s position in our passage today. A

He also mentioned it to the Church at Corinth in his second letter that they should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers and their works (2Cor. 6:14-18).
