TOPIC: MORE INSTRUCTIONS FOR BELIEVERS TEXT: COLOSSIANS 4: 1-6 MESSAGE Superiors usually give instructions to those under them. The aim of such instructions is to enable those under them to perform their work well and to free them from possible problems. In the last chapter of this epistle, Paul gives six important instructions to children of God. First he enjoins Christians to treat those who work under them with fairness and equity, remembering that God is the master over all men. He also emphasized the need to live a life of thanksgiving, with fervent prayers and watchfulness. Our prayers should not only focus on our needs but also for the extension of the Kingdom of God.
