The Primate of Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), the Most Rev’d Dr. Henry C. Ndukuba has announced the re-election of the Most Rev’d Dr. David Onuoha as the Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province for a second term of five years. The announcement was made at the end of a brief episcopal synod held today 9th of November, 2025 at the end of the consecration service of 15 new bishops in the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Life-camp, Gwarinpa, Abuja. The Primate who congratulated the newly elected Archbishop, prayed that God will keep working through him and grant him all that he needs to pilot the affairs of the people of God in Owerri Province. He urged all members of the Church to continue to put the newly consecrated bishops in prayers as they launch into the mission field in their respective areas.
