DATE: SATURDAY, 23RD APRIL, 2022

TOPIC: SET ME AS A SEAL UPON THINE HEART

TEXT: SONGS OF SOLOMON 8:5-7

5.  Who [is] this coming up from the wilderness, Leaning upon her beloved? I awakened you under the apple tree. There your mother brought you forth; There she [who] bore you brought [you] forth. THE SHULAMITE TO HER BELOVED

6.  Set me as a seal upon your heart, As a seal upon your arm; For love [is as] strong as death, Jealousy [as] cruel as the grave; Its flames [are] flames of fire, A most vehement flame.

7.  Many waters cannot quench love, Nor can the floods drown it. If a man would give for love All the wealth of his house, It would be utterly despised. THE SHULAMITE's BROTHERS

MESSAGE:

Love is jealous and demands undivided commitment; love is strong and powerful and burns like a fire. Again, love cannot be drowned by flood and cannot be purchased with money. These are various attributes of love that should define the experience of anyone who is lost in the love of Christ.

We cannot claim to love Jesus but have little or no time for Him in the place of fellowship. We cannot be in love with Him but flout every of His command. There was never a man in love with Jesus that denied Him the pleasure of intimate relationship. He demands our all – “and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might” (Deuteronomy 6:5); nothing short of this suffices.

PRAYER:

Help me dear Lord to love nothing else but You; let nothing else take Your place in my life. Amen.

EXCERPTS FROM: 24/7 WARFARE PRAYERS AND SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGH MANUAL

INTRODUCTION Right from childhood, the number “SEVEN” has always been an intrigue, an interesting puzzle, a fascination, and a great phenomenon to me. I was actually born on the seventh day of the month; perhaps this was one of the reasons why something leaps inside of me whenever I see the number. But as I grew up in the Christian faith I began to see a regular reference to it the scriptures. I was kind of saying, whoa! Holy bliss! Seven occurs 257 times, or 7 × 41 Seventh, the fractional part occurs 98 times or 7× 14 Seven –fold occurs 7 times. Seventy occurs 56 times or 7× 8 “Seventy” in combination with other numbers occurs 35 times or 7× 5. God is pleased to stamp the number “Seven” with the seal of perfection and completeness. God never down played the importance of the number, because it was the number of God. It is a carrier of God’s mysteries. It pleased God that, the Seventh man from Adam – Enoch sh
