TOPIC: HE IS COMING FOR YOU

TEXT: MARK 13:24-27

24.  " But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;
25.  "the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
26.  "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27.  "And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.

MESSAGE:
When someone says, ‘I am coming for you’, there is the tendency to look at it negatively. In the context of the return of Christ, it is one of the greatest events in history that we are looking forward to. Here, the Lord Jesus tells us what will precede His return. There will be signs in the heavens, followed by the seeing of the Son of Man and the sending of the angels. This passage tells us that the Lord is coming back in the midst of chaos but in power and glory, and for His own! Not one of His Elect on any point upon earth will be missed. He will overpower Satan and his demons. Knowing that Jesus is coming back, and for His Elect, should create the longing for His coming in your heart and spur you to get ready for Him. When life treats you unfairly, remember that it will not be long and Jesus will come to administer justice upon the corrupt, the wicked and the evil. Those who don’t know God through Christ alone will be justly judged. What matters is ensuring that Christ is in you, that is, if you are born again. Is He in your life? Are you born again? If not, come to Him now. Remember He is coming for you.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, help me experience the power and glory of the coming King.

EXCERPTS FROM: 24/7 WARFARE PRAYERS AND SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGH MANUAL

INTRODUCTION Right from childhood, the number “SEVEN” has always been an intrigue, an interesting puzzle, a fascination, and a great phenomenon to me. I was actually born on the seventh day of the month; perhaps this was one of the reasons why something leaps inside of me whenever I see the number. But as I grew up in the Christian faith I began to see a regular reference to it the scriptures. I was kind of saying, whoa! Holy bliss! Seven occurs 257 times, or 7 × 41 Seventh, the fractional part occurs 98 times or 7× 14 Seven –fold occurs 7 times. Seventy occurs 56 times or 7× 8 “Seventy” in combination with other numbers occurs 35 times or 7× 5. God is pleased to stamp the number “Seven” with the seal of perfection and completeness.
