"A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. 22. Hello friends, how have you been? So, someone sent me this message below, which was part of what I taught some time ago. It blessed my soul and I know it will bless you too.  Don't just read, also act and the Spirit of Jesus will help you.  Now, what are these tips?  1. Iron all your cloth before you sleep. 2. Polish/clean footwear before you sleep. 3. Get your Bible, jotter, etc. ready in one place. 4. Get your tithe &. offering ready. 5. Sleep a bit early. 6. Wake up on time. 7. Avoid saying "Even when I get there early, I won't meet anyone" Get there early and let someone come and meet you too. Don't forget you are also someone. The Bible says we must not join multitude to sin. 8. Washing on Sundays before church is not encouraged. It may delay you. 9. If it takes you 15 minutes to drive/walk to the church, always make allowance for extra time in case of anything. For instance, if service is 7am and it takes you 10 minutes to drive/walk to church, it's

ABUNDANCE OR VANITY: CHOOSE Wisely - THE DAILY FOUNTAIN DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA (ANGLICAN COMMUNION)

THE DAILY FOUNTAIN DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA (ANGLICAN COMMUNION) DATE: SATURDAY, 30TH OCTOBER, 2021  TOPIC: ABUNDANCE OR VANITY: CHOOSE WISELY TEXT: ECCLESIASTES 5:11-20  11.  When goods increase, They increase who eat them; So what profit have the owners Except to see [them] with their eyes? 12.  The sleep of a laboring man [is] sweet, Whether he eats little or much; But the abundance of the rich will not permit him to sleep. 13.  There is a severe evil [which] I have seen under the sun: Riches kept for their owner to his hurt. 14.  But those riches perish through misfortune; When he begets a son, [there is] nothing in his hand. 15.  As he came from his mother's womb, naked shall he return, To go as he came; And he shall take nothing from his labor Which he may carry away in his hand. 16.  And this also [is] a severe evil -- Just exactly as he came, so shall he go. And what profit has he who has labored for the wind? 17.  All his days he also eats in darknes

CHASTITY AND CHARITY - THE DAILY FOUNTAIN DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA (ANGLICAN COMMUNION)

THE DAILY FOUNTAIN DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA (ANGLICAN COMMUNION) DATE: FRIDAY, 29TH OCTOBER, 2021 TOPIC: CHASTITY AND CHARITY TEXT: ECCLESIASTES 5:1-10 1. Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil. 2. Do not be rash with your mouth, And let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God [is] in heaven, and you on earth; Therefore let your words be few. 3. For a dream comes through much activity, And a fool's voice [is known] by [his] many words. 4. When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; For [He has] no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed -- 5. Better not to vow than to vow and not pay. 6. Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger [of God] that it [was] an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse and destroy the work of your hands? 7. For in the multitude of dreams and many words

"These things I command you, that you love one another. 18. " If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before [it hated] you. 19. "If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20. "Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21. "But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22. "If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23. "He who hates Me hates

ONE WITH GOD - THE DAILY FOUNTAIN DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA (ANGLICAN COMMUNION)

THE DAILY FOUNTAIN DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA (ANGLICAN COMMUNION) DATE: WEDNESDAY, 27TH OCTOBER, 2021  TOPIC: ONE WITH GOD TEXT: ECCLESIASTES 4:9-16 9. Two [are] better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. 10. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him [who is] alone when he falls, For [he has] no one to help him up. 11. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm [alone?] 12. Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. 13. Better a poor and wise youth Than an old and foolish king who will be admonished no more. 14. For he comes out of prison to be king, Although he was born poor in his kingdom. 15. I saw all the living who walk under the sun; They were with the second youth who stands in his place. 16. [There was] no end of all the people over whom he was made king; Yet those who come afterward will not rejoice in

LIFE WITHOUT JESUS IS A WASTE '- THE DAILY FOUNTAIN DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA (ANGLICAN COMMUNION)

THE DAILY FOUNTAIN DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA (ANGLICAN COMMUNION) DATE: TUESDAY, 26TH OCTOBER, 2021  TOPIC: LIFE WITHOUT JESUS IS A WASTE TEXT: ECCLESIASTES 4:1-8 1. Then I returned and considered all the oppression that is done under the sun: And look! The tears of the oppressed, But they have no comforter -- On the side of their oppressors [there is] power, But they have no comforter. 2. Therefore I praised the dead who were already dead, More than the living who are still alive. 3. Yet, better than both [is he] who has never existed, Who has not seen the evil work that is done under the sun. 4. Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also [is] vanity and grasping for the wind. 5. The fool folds his hands And consumes his own flesh. 6. Better a handful [with] quietness Than both hands full, [together with] toil and grasping for the wind. 7. Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun: 8. There is one a
