TOPIC: BREAK YOUR SPIRITUAL IGNORANCE

TEXT: JOHN 14: 1-14

1. "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
2. "In My Father's house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so,] I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3. "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, [there] you may be also.
4. "And where I go you know, and the way you know."
5.  Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"
6.  Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
7.  " If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him."
8.  Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us."
9.  Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
10.  "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own [authority;] but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
11.  "Believe Me that I [am] in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
12.  " Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater [works] than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
13.  "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14.  "If you ask anything in My name, I will do [it.]

MESSAGE:
In our text today, while Jesus was teaching about heavenly mansions for believers and His Second Coming to rapture the saints (1 Cor. 15: 52), Philip interrupted and asked Him to show them the Father. Jesus replied: How long have you been with me and you do not know me? Unfortunately, some church members are ignorant about Jesus being the Lord and Father of all. They remain silent like Philip about their ignorance on spiritual matters for years. Thank God that Philip asked, which led Jesus to explain that He is one with the Father. He is also the truth, life and the ONLY way to the Father (v.6). Hence, it is impossible to have a relationship with God without accepting Jesus as Lord.

Disregarding Jesus as the only way to the Father and trying to contact God through angels, spiritual leaders, adherence to moral laws and religious codes is a mere exercise in futility. So break your spiritual ignorance on how to obtain salvation, operations of the Holy Spirit, power for righteousness, end time prophesies, etc. Do not be seen as a disciple of Jesus without proper knowledge of the Master; it is a misnomer to be serving a God you do not know. A sound knowledge of Him equips you to do the works of Jesus and receive answers to prayers and eternal life.

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, give me a revelation of the knowledge of You, in Jesus' name. Amen.

WISHING YOU CEASELESS GRACE IN MAY. HAPPY NEW MONTH!

EXCERPTS FROM: 24/7 WARFARE PRAYERS AND SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGH MANUAL

INTRODUCTION Right from childhood, the number “SEVEN” has always been an intrigue, an interesting puzzle, a fascination, and a great phenomenon to me. I was actually born on the seventh day of the month; perhaps this was one of the reasons why something leaps inside of me whenever I see the number. But as I grew up in the Christian faith I began to see a regular reference to it the scriptures. I was kind of saying, whoa! Holy bliss! Seven occurs 257 times, or 7 × 41 Seventh, the fractional part occurs 98 times or 7× 14 Seven –fold occurs 7 times. Seventy occurs 56 times or 7× 8 “Seventy” in combination with other numbers occurs 35 times or 7× 5. God is pleased to stamp the number “Seven” with the seal of perfection and completeness. God never down played the importance of the number, because it was the number of God. It is a carrier of God’s mysteries. It pleased God that, the Seventh man from Adam – Enoch sh
