DATE: SUNDAY, 13TH NOVEMBER, 2022

TOPIC: ANSWERED PRAYERS

TEXT: 1 JOHN 5:13-15

13.  These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may [continue to] believe in the name of the Son of God.
14.  Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
15.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

MESSAGE:
John makes it clear that there must be a connection to the source of answers to prayer and this comes through believing consistently in the name of Jesus. The foundational result is eternally released to those who believe. This channel produces the confidence to ask in prayer correctly. Prayers are heard when they are according to God’s will; again, remaining in Him brings the answer. So, there should be consistency in believing, praying according to God’s will and expecting answers. Do you wonder why your prayers are not answered? Check properly your connection to God and how you ask. Also, your ability to remain in the will of God enables your prayers to be answered. Do not shift from God’s will when you are expecting answers to prayers because the answer may miss you or you may miss the answer. Your prayer can be answered if you are well positioned in Him (Heb. 11:6).

PRAYER:
Lord please help me to position myself correctly for answered prayers. Amen.

But as I grew up in the Christian faith I began to see a regular reference to it the scriptures. I was kind of saying, whoa! Holy bliss! Seven occurs 257 times, or 7 × 41 Seventh, the fractional part occurs 98 times or 7× 14 Seven –fold occurs 7 times. Seventy occurs 56 times or 7× 8 “Seventy” in combination with other numbers occurs 35 times or 7× 5. God is pleased to stamp the number “Seven” with the seal of perfection and completeness.
