*2021 Church of Nigeria Standing Committee@ All Saints Cathedral, Onitsha*

*Date: Tuesday 9th February,2021.*

*Consecration Service Sermon*

*By The Most Rev. Dr. Tunde Adeleye.*

*Archbishop of Niger-Delta Province and Bishop of Calabar Diocese*

*Topic: How to make the Bishop to succeed.*

*1. Pray for the Bishop*

When you see people talking ill, abusing Bishops, it shows that they're not praying for their Bishop. We are afraid of those who talk bad about  others because the same way they will go at our back and talk bad about us too.

Galassians 6:2,

Such people have diarrhoea of the mouth.

Remember the person you are talking about, God says touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.

Always pray for your Bishop, pray for one and another.

*2. Be available for him*

Be useful to your Bishop by making yourself available.

Isaiah 6:5

Don't sit down and criticize, condemn and murmur.

When you are available,if there's any corrections, take it with open heart.

Be available!

*3. You must obey your Bishop*

Ephesians 6:1-3, Prov.15:22

Help your Bishop to succeed by giving suggestions, advice, godly counsels

When the laity encourage the clergy to disobey the Bishop, they're digging professional grave for you. Don't follow your parishioners to disobey your Bishop cos you are holding his license.

1 Thess.5:12. Esteem your Bishop very highly, honour him, respect him.

Any Church that's at peace, the sky is our starting point.. somebody shout hallelujah!

Follow your Bishop in your mind, love him and what he does.

*4.Don't stress your Bishop

Say to yourself, if the Bishop hears this, he will be happy with me. Then do those things that your Bishop will be happy when he hears it.

Finally, may God use you to bless the ministry of your Bishop in the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy-Spirit, Amen.

EXCERPTS FROM: 24/7 WARFARE PRAYERS AND SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGH MANUAL

INTRODUCTION Right from childhood, the number “SEVEN” has always been an intrigue, an interesting puzzle, a fascination, and a great phenomenon to me. I was actually born on the seventh day of the month; perhaps this was one of the reasons why something leaps inside of me whenever I see the number. But as I grew up in the Christian faith I began to see a regular reference to it the scriptures. I was kind of saying, whoa! Holy bliss! Seven occurs 257 times, or 7 × 41 Seventh, the fractional part occurs 98 times or 7× 14 Seven –fold occurs 7 times. Seventy occurs 56 times or 7× 8 “Seventy” in combination with other numbers occurs 35 times or 7× 5. God is pleased to stamp the number “Seven” with the seal of perfection and completeness. God never down played the importance of the number, because it was the number of God. It is a carrier of God’s mysteries. It pleased God that, the Seventh man from Adam – Enoch sh
